Our Financial Institutions Tax practice continues to support a growing Asset Management client base. This opportunity offers exposure to specialized tax and compliance engagements, combining technical tax work with data?driven reporting. In this role, you will contribute as part of a collaborative team while building a strong foundation in Asset Management tax.
What You Will Do
Analyze, organize, and validate financial data to support client tax reporting using proprietary tax processing software
Prepare and support client deliverables related to Asset Management tax and compliance requirements
Collaborate with senior team members to understand client needs and engagement objectives
Support the delivery of Asset Management tax solutions through accurate data analysis and reporting
Work closely with tax professionals across levels as part of integrated engagement teams
Apply technical and analytical skills to solve reporting and compliance challenges
Contribute to a team?based environment focused on quality, learning, and continuous improvement
Requirements
CPA designation or active enrollment in the CPA program
Post?secondary education in accounting, business, or business data management
A minimum of one year of experience in accounting, asset management, tax, or a combination of these areas
Demonstrated interest in building a long?term career in Tax
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work accurately with financial data
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High attention to detail with strong interpersonal and problem?solving skills
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $106,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
